Mission Statement

The Versailles Fire Department is dedicated to serving the citizens of Versailles and Johnson Township in Ripley County, Indiana. The Versailles Firefighters will continue to train and work for the continuous improvement of the fire department. We will serve our community unselfishly to preserve their lives and property. The firefighters of the Versailles Fire Department will provide fire protection, emergency extrication, technical rope rescue, BLS Emergency Medical Services, fire prevention education and many other services when our community is in need. Our mission is: The Preservation of Life and Property.
